Hi John, thanks for the welcome.

Metals, No worries, I just got all excited over Hell freezing over all of a sudden, I figure with my car doors all frozen, it a sign from the Gold Gods, but was not to be so.

gee, all this chatter on the MINE site and no news, just imagine if they actually did something!!!!LOL

I havent seen SUNR news but I know there are several people who will be releaved that SUNR is finally moving somewhere.

Anyone talk to TT or Mary lately? No one has anything juicy?!??! OK I heard a rumor that some of the North American majors such as Placer, Barrik (chaired by our beloved former PM Mulroney) Newmont etc. are planning to reinvigorate the Gold price by making a significant number of acquisitions over the next little while. I think it was Newmont who apparentely has a goal of becoming the owner of the cheapest mines and cost per oz. (did that make sence? I have no idea how to phrase that!)

As such,we have seen severl large movements on the markets for aggressive takeovers. -EG. Argentina Gold. yada yada yada. Should this prove a true goal for majors, GE with a 170.00/oz price of extraction is a great target.

Just trying to breathe some life here again.

Can anyone confirm or deny this rumor???
