I think what happened at the end of the day is the FMs finally got clued that AOL was running, and they better buy now or pay more tomorrow.

I feel for proven veterans like Hugh Johnson who have to rewire their thinking when it comes to tech and internet stocks. But Cramer always says it plain and simple: a fund manager's job is to make money, not to be "correct" in any sense.

Better the fm's buy now in fairly low doses than be forced to swallow whole the likes of MSFT, CSCO and AOL down the road when they get out of the stratosphere.

Personally, I'm going to be ready for that correction, whenever it comes.
