ratlong, > Web? E-commerce? I would like to see case studies on those > babies. :^) Great, RATL is now a Internet company! Now if they just make a stock split, the stock will triple...(joke). > While I am oversimplifying Moore's theory, what I am looking > for is what new products and services will be taken to their > existing customer base. Then I think we agree. From the position they now have established, they should develop and enhance their existing products, and launch new products in 'their field' directed at their existing and growing customer base -- but fundamentally no dramatical strategy change is needed. I think I have some idea where Rose (Rose2000?) is headed, but I won't make any statements about that. They recently trademarked some product names involving the word "Test" which currently aren't Rational products, so either they are renaming some of their existing tools or they got some new test tools due out. I think the RUP are now getting full attention from Rational, and especially in services and consulting there's a lot to be made there (most companies need more than the CD-ROM). Let's keep speculating... > Are you planning on coming state-side for SD West or the > Rational Users Conference? I will probably be in the U.S. this autumn at OOPSLA and another UML conference. Rational User Conference is in July, right? More questionable if I can make it there, but who knows.
