There was a piece in the SJ mercury news about politics as a viable option for some of these guys in high tech that got rich and are retired at age 40 with nothing to do. Dole and some others were mentioned with a subtext of the fact that even with their meager salaries they were able to accumulate wealth equal to some high tech successes. There was nothing mentioned about Liddy Dole though and perhaps she contributed since she has worked in pvt industry. BTW politics is not a viable option for some of these retired guys out here because most cant hold up to the RR lifestyle demands - and would refuse to play that game anyway. The christian leaders seem disconnected from Ca and nobody from here is going to kowtow to them - they just seem stupid.
