If LU buys ASND it's because they want to continue in the WAN marketplace and be extremely dominant probably.... I think ASND is priced high because the deal has been cooking for awhile with numbers discussed around $75. this was only $22 a year ago FORE on the other hand is strong leader in LAN market and not so strong in WAN mkt. LU would have to consciously decide to attack the enterprise LAN mkt to buy a FORE... It still could happen tho. DW p.s. don't sweat the ##'s, FORE would've said something if they were gonna miss
