<I would like to get a better picture of the sales trend for both of Creative's soundcard and videocard, where can I find such info?>

The only time I have heard a breakdown of the business by these segments is during the conference calls that follow the earnings report. I'm sure if you look back to last quarters earnings (right here on this thread) you can find that info in the notes that people provided from the call. As far as data back further than that you might have to dig further. Perhaps I/R can do something useful and provide you the information you are looking for. They should be willing to share it with you since they have been giving it during the calls. Keep in mind that the percentage of revenue for sound cards was artificially down last quarter due to the SB-live delay. I believe the guidance they gave was that sound for this quarter would contribute around 45%. Again, you have to dig back through SI around the time of the last earnings report to see if anyone noted those numbers. I seem to recall they did.

Good luck,

FF

Good luck trying to find that info anywhere. That's exactly the kind of "big secret" that Sim wants to keep anyone from knowing. They believe anything and everything they say will backfire on them, so they say nothing. Don't you understand? This is exactly why this stock sucks so bad. Because they won't release any useful information with which to analyze it.

BTW, USB speakers are nothing but a sound card external to the PC, communicating over a low bandwidth cable.
