The Starr Report, the videotape of Clinton's grand jury testimony, the elections, the passage of the articles of impeachment in the HJC and in the full House... We've come a long way, dude! The ratings have remained in the mid-60's all along. Maybe that should give you a clue!

If you think Clintons numbers will change dramatically after all the shoddy Jane Doe evidence, I suggest you read the excellent article "Where the right went wrong" from Time a few weeks ago. It correctly points out that Clintons numbers are a backlash against the RR and the tactics of the right to bring him down - as evidenced by the fact that his numbers when up after impeachment. Obviously a backlash there. Anything the right does now to futher trash Clinton will show up in their own numbers and benefit Clinton. Human nature is just that way. <gg>
