MH,

I know what you mean. I was thinking of crashing the entire internet market by buying something, anything. I figure that would stop it cold.

Then I decided I'd just call up a couple of brokers, show them my trading history, and force them to pay me to NOT buy anything.

It works for the farmers.

MH,

I haven't been in the internet stocks myself either, I prefer RMBS & INTC & calls on them, but, on 9/3/98, my son cleverly bought 1 aolab (AOL JAN 125 call - presplit) for $438 (now worth 45 times that) and 2 yhqar (YHOO JAN 90 calls) for $1675 (now worth 40 times that)- so I am vicariously participating. I urge him to sell daily and he still hasn't. He has until Friday.

> How many of you who have not participated in the internet revolution

Aside from day trading, I have not bought any internet stock long term. It's OK with me though. Just because everyone else is buying beanie babies does not mean you have to. Yeah, it made a few millionaires but I think it will cost many other their millions.

I will stick with my RMBS that goes up a couple bucks a week :).

I've bought some of them (CMGI, DBCC, EGGS, AOL) several times and always chicken out and sell too soon. I don't even want to think about what will happen if you're holding the day the music stops.
