Paul,

Our original wager was:

**Side bet.** You are on record saying that Hong Kong, Taiwan and Argentina will all devalue. I'll take the other side of each of those bets. How does one cyber-lunch at the SI bar and grill sound? <G>

Message 5547099

You are a gentlemen to concede the bet, but there really isn't anything further that needs to be done. I have already gained more than the cost of lunch by reading your posts and the many links you provide. Maybe we can find something later for "double or nothin".

-Robert

<ot> G'day Paul - if you kept betting with Robert, you might have to feed him for life <VBSG>! Anyway, here is a piece by another Paul [Erdman] on Brazil

If Latam stands, chances are that so will Asia. Incidentally, a couple of panelists on Wall $treet Week mentioned that the real worry [to the US market] is that Asia might recover too quickly... talking about heartless capitalists <SG>!

best, Bosco
