Tis true, Ken, tis true, I'm afraid. Just wanted to get my little piece of the internut pie (have been putting 10% of my trading account into these 1-2 day plays based both on recs. and, yes, my own DD...and it's doubled in 4 trades...SKYM, CMGI [2x], NAVR), and have something to tell my grandkids when they read in their history books how ordinary guys with a modem and keyboard were turned overnight into millionaires during one crazy market stint at the end of the millenium... ...and then went bust once the bubble burst at the outbreak of war with Iraq and a presidential impeachment, flooding the welfare ranks to unprecedented levels, throwing the entire economy into the worst depression since the '29 crash... ...and I can say I was there and I survived by means of good money management and opportunely timed shorts!
