On Friday just before the close, I took a position in a stock purely on impulse, without looking at a chart, just to push the button for the last time before the weekend. Sure enough, it promptly lost two points in the last two minutes of trading, and I said the myself - serve you right, I hope this teaches you never to do that again. Today the stupid stock opened up seven bucks, and I got out with a $5k gain. If I'd been really stupid and held all day, my gain would have been just under $10k. This has now become a world where the guilty and the incompetent go unpunished.

Larry, That was a very nice post. I;m an idiot. I bought 200 LCOS at 61 it went went to 54 and I bailed out. Boy am I sick. However that's not the end of it. I was going to buy 1000 of NAVR at 9 and did not. Up $10,000 since Friday any way on my SUNW, CBS, IRF, and CPQ IF DAN IS LISTENING I BOUGHT 2000 ASHW TODAY. After reviewing what he said I agree with him. It's a fairly high profile company with almost no debt,an increasing volume of business each year and selling very cheap. It could double very easily. At least I can sleep at night. LOVE CBS...... MARVIN
