OT.. I've been taking short lived puts on IBM, my infamous 'chicken' trades. They've worked well, about 400% in the last two weeks. I have a feeling Gerstner will split the stock next earnings.. do you have the exact day? Therefore, I'm going to stop playing that game as the date approaches. Did well going long the oils a couple of weeks ago. No disasters this year <g> As many are, I'm finding great amusement in the internet valuations. So many of the arguments will eventually become normalized. If every company that anounces a .com soars 200% the S&P will be over 6000. Internet, cablenet, satnet, and even mallnet will find a balance... the consumer will spend about the same amount of money, so something has to give. One point to be mindful of is that the internet will become a powerful deflationary force, as potent as oil price drops in keeping the lid on price increases. Jim
