My GPZ was the next year after they stopped making the KZ, probably the same bike, different name.

Talk about no trust, listen to this;
I buy the bike from a guy, i'm tolling around town on it for a few weeks, then one hot summer day I take it out and go nuts, flying down the freeway at 240KM/hour and the thing goes into a speed wobble.

So I ease it back down, get back to being legal. When I get home I take a look at the axle bolts on the front forks, all loose.

Later that year, canadian thanksgiving, I head out with my soon to be wife on a long weekend trip up north. We're screaming back home Monday night and the chain flys off.

Next spring we're on a trip to toronto, muffler fly's off.

Later that same year I take another trip to Toronto alone and the DRIVE sproket comes off.

Man, talk about loss of confidence, I couldda been killed in each one of those incidents.

Wonder if the guy I sold it to is still alive...
