No Lee you are not wrong. The stock price in most cases is not directly tied to the cost of becoming a reporting company. The 30,000 is the figure that was given to me. I believe that is the fee for the lawyers to file the correct papers and be sure all of the I's are dotted and the T's are crossed. The money also goes to the auditors that check the books. In AXGI's case they want the stock price to be up because they need a higher market cap. AXGI right now is cash poor this still stems from their software division that they sold in 1998. So in order to do the agressive marketing and growth that they have planned AXGI is going to need financing. The higher the market cap, the more money the company is worth, therefore the easier it is to obtain the financing to do what they feel they need to do to make this company grow.As far as when AXGI must comply with the new regulations, all existing OTC-BB stocks will be required to comply in ALPHABETICAL ORDER starting in the middle of 1999. So being an A AXGI will be one of the early ones that the SEC will force to comply. I hopoe this helps you put the pieces of this puzzle together.
Regards,
Ernie
