Viagra 1998 Specification IMS reported weekly Viagra Rxs for the week ending on New Year's Day ........as posted on the free Merrill Lynch Research Reports askmerrill.com Here are the highlights: Viagra Specification (4/3/98- 1/01/99) New Rxs: 4.3 Million Refill Rxs: 2.9 Million Total Rxs: 7.2 Million - Highest specification ever for a new pharmaceutical product over a 9 month period - Non-injectable ED specification expanded 848% in 1998 as compared to 1997 - Viagra captured 95% of total 1998 ED Rxs and 98% of all ED Rxs since launch - Weekly New Rx Viagra specification peaked in the 2nd quarter, while Viagra Refill Rxs reached its highest level during the last week of 1998 Viagra Specification (4-day week ending 1/01/99) New Rxs: 58,966 (+4.3% over 4 day Christmas week) Refill Rxs: 107,525 (+16.6% over 4 day Christmas week) Total Rxs: 166,491 (+11.9% over 4 day Christmas week) -Although specification comparisons are difficult due to the holiday season, Viagra refills during the 4 day week set an all-time high .......surpassing the previous refill high of 103,238 set during the 5 -day week ending 12/04/98.
