Funny,

searching the web yields web pages like Dave, Andy, Brookes and Brian K.

The basic jist is that its an overbought/oversold oscillator. Most commonly interpreted as a buy cross up throught the lower threshold and sell crossing down through the upper threshold. Most common threshold values used are 30/70 and 20/80. I wish gary had included the option to display these values are horizontal lines in the indicator display box.

Hope this helps. StochRSI is probably my favorite indicator. It seems to have an uncanny accuracy. It misses many good opportunities but is as accurate as any indicator I have seen in my short time using TA.

good luck,
Sean

Thanks Richard, I have Chande's book. Just haven't spent that much time with it, obviously. Will put it on the list for upcoming weekend.
