Richie...How true on YHOO and AMZN.
Except AMZN doesn't even have a PE of 2000 yet.
No E,....only P!

If AMZN stock dropped 95% it would still be overvalued.
The stock price is a gamble were one "investor" hopes
to find someone willing to pay more than they paid.
If the people know when to buy and when to sell internets,...
and which ones...they know more than I,...or...have a higher risk
tolerance. I can never be upset about not owning internet
stocks.
1. Had I been in them...I would have sold long ago
2. The higher the price now the more overvalued they are

It is however, interesting (with some dismay) to see such a rotation
from quality companies with earnings...to internet stocks.

As for PC's becoming commodities...
Similar to TV's or automobiles? Many companies diversified
and many companies disappeared through consolidation and
competition.
It was of long term benefit for CPQ to diversify.

Where will Packard Bell and GTW be in several years?
