*OT* - Kinda - another DRIV client, Anything Internet, is supposed to start trading on the OTC:BB sometime in January, or early February. AYIC (temporary symbol), like IBUY, is an e-retailer. CPQ bought IBUY's ~11M shares for $19 each, for a total of $220 million. IBUY is an OTC:BB stock that has traded in double digits for most of its existence, despite the fact that most BB issues are in the >$10 range. AYIC's 3M shares are to begin trading at $5 (BB stocks don't IPO, they just begin trading at a MM determined level). Before AYIC begins trading, they will issue a PR announcing their new trading symbol and trading date, and they will make fully audited financials available to the public. Even at $20, someone could follow CPQ's lead and snatch up AYIC at $60 million - a bargain compared to IBUY, so this may be an issue to watch. Also, a couple of us TSQD/DRIV veterans are following BANY (OTC:BB), a laptop hard-case maker, who obtained 1M shares of AYIC in a stock swap, then gave 200,000 shares of AYIC too BANY investors as a dividend in December. BANY still retains 800,000 shares for their own purposes, and therefore qualifies as a "backdoor" to getting a stake in AYIC before it begins trading. If my calculations are correct, BANY's 27% ownership of AYIC translates to a value of 0.0888 per BANY share, or $0.444 for each $5 of AYIC price (I got 111 AYIC in the dividend for the 5,000 BANY I owned, 444 shares still valued to my BANY shares). BANY is currently trading at ~$0.75, or a price for AYIC of ~$8.45, if BANY is assumed to have no value (same assumption as TSQD). BANY's trading price before the AYIC deal was ~$0.20~0.40. If the AYIC PR gets the attention of some of the CURRENT internet mania (provided is lasts until AYIC begins trading), BANY may be a good backdoor option. As always, if almost anything goes wrong, BANY could flop bigtime. Its risky, its fun, and it has a very detailed SI thread. If you got out of TSQD at $6, or DRIV at $60, you are welcome to join a few of us to give BANY a shot. IMO its riskier than TSQD, but may have more potential in the current market environment. Sorry for the *OT*
