Keiko - how would you respond to Archer's comments? Perhaps I'm a chump, but I'm assuming that Mr. White and friends carried out segmented market research prior to investing in this enterprise. Personally, I know quite a few wealthy people who have peculiar collecting habits, and the opportunity to track items down worldwide from reputable auction houses would probably be welcomed. How many wealthy readers of Robb Report or Millionaire read through the advertisements in these publications, but have no easy access for purchasing the items of interest? I believe the key deciding factor on the company's future success is how they will guarantee the "quality" of the high-end items being auctioned off or sold. As you mentioned time will tell.........

Keiko, your thoughts?

Steve, if your monitoring, any thoughts from your vantage point? (can't imagine there would be any confidential information at risk from answering this, and has nothing to do with the audit.....)

I said the same thing ago many years ago about YAHOO. I thought how can this company ever make money. How many people will really buy and use a computer and get on the internet. I thought it was just for YUPPIES. I looked at all the negatives and excuses for why it would fail and let alone invest in it, at that time. same with most internet companys. I think beardown said it first when he said all the company has is a name and a few dreams. Well right now that is 2 things already that it has going for them. Millionaire.com will attract advertisers galore with this name alone.thus making the company money. The magazine in itself has already doubled in content. Auctions are big money makers, even more with highticket items. Speciality auctions in the global emporium will draw many. This will draw attention internationally. There are so many means of revenue with huge profit margins that the list is endless.
I think this will be a big surprise to all the nonbelievers.

Archer, look at reality for a second. People buy lamborghinis through the Rob Report. If not, that mag would have went out of biz years ago. And they will buy them through Millionaire Mag and the website. "Will not make a dime", where is your mind? They now own three auction houses. No matter where biz goes they have it covered. I hope that you made that statement to provoke an intelligent conversation and not because you are showing you should not be in the markets.
