Ariella, I'm not an expert in this arena, but I believe the increase in authorized treasury shares is necessary for either option in the Strategic Alternative. Either way, the shares purchased by our 'partner' in the company would have to come out of the treasury shares. This subject has been discussed on the Yahoo! board (I think), and was not surprising to see in the filings. Long ...:) Mark in (MD) Florida.....

Ariella, I think at the last two shareholder meetings, number of shares has gone from 35 to 50 million and 50 to 75 million. Now they are proposing 75 to 100 million. Seems to be the normal course of business. Nice to see you back on this board.
