Ron, Kudos for the best laugh I had all day.
(Remembering of course that there was plenty of insanity to laugh at in the market today. Although I wasn't quite laughing all that much, seeing as I was delighted to get out of lots of both SEEK and EGRP in the 32 - 42 areas over the past month and a half, and I watched them both go over NINETY today. I give up!)
At the end of the day, I think I'd rather deal with solid undervalued companies, at least then I know I can probably wait out a downturn.
ATEC is presently my largest holding, and I can't complain about it's recent performance. It broke a serious resistance of 8 today, on 4-5 times normal volume, and I'm expecting a run to about 10, at which point I'll be looking to take profits and move a bit more heavily in to RADAF. Hope it waits for me.
Oil services have also been treating me well recently (although no 50% + gain days), after a really dismal '98. Things really seem to be looking up quite well in that area for '99. In fact we very possibly are seeing the turn-over from a bear market of almost a year, to what may be a multi-year heavy bull.
Good Luck to all.
