Agree - quite a team of very talented people here. One of many reasons I picked this baby up.
Management is everything. Why I also picked up BYND back in the 20's -- they got the marketing guru who used to be at Amazon.
If they market anywhere 1/2 as good as AMZN - they will do quite well.
Met their management at Internet World in Silicon Valley in '94 (software.net) & was impressed.

the power of LONWORKS is that not only can you get your email via lonworks, but you can turn on your oven, turn off your air conditioner, turn on your sprinklers with the integrated electronic products connected to the local area network with your laptop, your cell phone, or your home/office computer.

No, you can't. Lonworks is an "operating" network, not a LAN. It cannot carry your email. It has its own proprietary protocol that has been optimized for operating network communications (e.g. only short messages, limited address space, etc.). In fact, the ONLY way you can have any communication at all between a LAN and a Lonworks network is to have a gateway PC (or an equivalent device, such as a co-active router) with a network card and a LON adapter, and software to translate.
