FT, There exists a moral right and a moral wrong in the universe. Existence and intelligence demand it. Unfortunately nobody seems to agree on what it is. The moment we permit one person to define it for another we violate the rights of the other, and the moment we allow each individual to define it privately we descend into anarchy. So we compromise, we make and repeal laws, we attempt to govern, we make a mess, we learn (sometimes), we try again. Sometimes we even laugh at ourselves, which is more fun. Steve
