Can you please translate that message into English?

English is my native tongue..:o)

OK... let's see...I'll type slowly, and be basic and brief.

Almost all of the communications on and around this planet is converting from an analog nature into a digital nature. There are two primary digital formats - cell and packet. ATM switches process "cells" of data, while your standard ethernet or dial-up ppp connection is "frame" in format. (A cell is a fixed length frame of 53 bytes of information, whereas ethernet frames can vary from 64 to 1514 bytes in size.)

FORE makes the best corporate campus solutions for switching cells. Their ATM equipment IS the corporate choice for large corporations. They have expanded their line of equipment to be big enough for a central office application - which would make them good for the phone companies.

Generally, the phone companies will use / are using ATM between all of their central offices because of the nature of ATM and a way to guarantee a quality of service. So, right now, all of the phone companies are looking for vendors to purchase the best equipment from, to be able to handle the communications needs of tomorrow. FORE has a good solution, and would be a candidate for any telecommunications firm who wants to supply the phone companies / ISPs.
