Auric BFLY ranks up with IFLY. However with 2.2mil float and 800k short it's probably wise to wait and play it's next run up that it will likely have when they report 1000% sales increase for the 4th quarter as a lot of daytraders wont realise that will only mean their sales went from 6, to 60, in the quarter.

Why did CPQ buy IBUY?

My theory: they just wanted the domain name, and intend to shut down the rest and replace it with their own setup.

Hello Auric,

Prediction - two days to late, I was thinking it at the time though: When the bear Auric Goldfinger gets in CMGI's camp then that is when it is going to Drop 40% in one day.

I don't know if that is what happened but the stock corrected at least 40%. I should have sold at the opening when I saw the stock opened at 156, gapping up 18 on the split shares. I could have bought it back at 88 in 1/2 hour or so. I would have still had my 2000 shares and in addition I would have had $136,000 cash on the books. I would have also had a nice new paper profit as the stock recovered to 130 or so a share. I saw it happening, it was moving fast, did not pull the trigger and in a couple of minutes it was too late, a panic selling event was going on. IMO the market maker made a ton of money setting the opening way high after the stock split. Then he sold (shorted) it like crazy, took the price down and panic set in. The same pattern occurred on other Inuts.
Nah, those market makers don't talk to each other.

I agree that rolling the old ladies is the best policy. Many of them are scam junk stocks still very risky to short at this time IMO.

Regards,

Wingman
