If AMD read this BB or one of many boards concerning Wave Editors like Cool Edit Pro, SAW or Cakewalk they would have realized the need to implement 3NDOW! for these type of apps. 3DNOW! would have really speeded these apps up...especially in lieu of the weaker FPU. I don't think their will be a lot of optimised KNI apps for the Katmai right away though. I don't think it's the killer apps they are looking for either but it's "an" app.
