THE SHORTERS WATERLOO IN SIGHT

To all believers in our Chairmans superb leadership:

2.1.2 Photonic Technologies

To stimulate the introduction of integrated photonic systems, including development of the technological base for deployment of fully optical networks ("transparent highways") in Europe by the year 2000. Issues addressed include: techniques for very high-capacity, low-cost "multi-gigabit" transmission, optical switching, signal processing and control cost reductions for broadband access, to support the delivery of new services at affordable cost for all users

· migration paths from present-day networks based on electronic switches, to future hybrid and all-optical networks
· radically new concepts in design network management and control of photonic networks, demonstrating the increased flexibility possible with optical technology

· new concepts in quantum optics, non-linear dynamics,"femtosecond technologies" and optical processing to achieve the next generation of technological break-throughs and to provide terabit bandwidth capability beyond 2000

· new concepts and novel devices for routing/switching in optical networks.

2.1.3 High-Speed Networking

To provide integrated high-speed networks to leading edge users in Europe, and to prepare for the mass deployment of such networks. Issues addressed include:

· development of technology and systems to support broadband services, including terminal equipment, public networks and corporate networks. Work includes network topology and architectures for networks designed specifically for high-speed multi-purpose uses and based on asynchronous transfer mode (ATM)

· interconnection of different networks to allow inter-operation between different network types and networks deployed in different countries. This research is well supported by trials and demonstrations

· convergence and integration of Asynchronous Transfer Mode networks (ATM) and the Internet.

Now what do I hear loud and clear?

THE EURO AND EUROPE ARE READY FOR OSICOM !

THE ONLY COMPANY IN THE WORLD.EX STOCK NOW!

Eventually delivery bottlenecks for USA customers waiting "overtime" for the "real thing ". Meaning stripped down LONG DISTANCE versions from buffed up and false favourites.

Go Osicom and take Fore with you.
