dale, I welcome you as the only other rocket scientist on this thread. My job is to update/improve/diagnose problems with the GPS satellite system. Don't really know much about launch ops, though. Petz

Off topic: TRW Please don't dwell on the failure of an Iridium-like (Motorola) communications system such as Odessey. The medium earth orbit (Odessy) and the high earth orbit systems are so much inferior to the low earth orbit system (like Iridium). Whether your rocket systems are awesome or not, the technology is pretty much resided in the electronics. Payload is the king. There is mind-blowing technology coming out of Space Park using MIMIC and GaAs. The only question is whether TRW can build enough of it to revolutionize the telecommunications industry or not. We shall see.
