Dale, your work is appreciated (what masses?). We're all busy so this makes it a bit easier.

I always like to throw in a semi just for my own masochism. I like Acer as a company but I suspect they're private, or a subsidiary of someone else? Does anyone know?

I also like a couple of larger cap issues for safety with brand name power: Sony (SNE) and Matsushita (MC). Can those be added to the list? A little quasi-international diversification can't hurt.

I also wonder if last year's semi pick, which has undergone a lot of volatility, might not be worth a try: Speedfam (SFAM).

And what of some of our former darlings which crashed? MRVC now trades at $6...maybe now a good buy?

I also like HWP and still resent the fact that I can't directly invest in Verifone (VFI) because they bought it. However, HWP is overvalued.
