Short selling is a wicked graft which craftily and easily is leading the unwary, from governments down to the individual into bankruptcy and personal financial ruin. Your response: Oh, please, Eddy! Selling and short-selling are normal and necessary aspects of the financial markets. Since I have no arguments with selling stocks we could agree to let that word go and are left with your contention that short-selling is a normal and necessary aspect of financial markets. We are miles apart in our views. I am at this theme now for nearly a year. I know I am right in my formed opinion and the reason I know and not think I know, is actually very simple. A big mistake was made in the way I presented my opinion so far. I never could get it across to my opponents and the casual readers why? Ending always with sentences like yours above. And naturally as a consequence I never got a serious and factual written exchange going. I noticed the thrown lines in the initial posts but I could not pick them up, partly because of the threads title and the arrangement the chicken made on behalf of me under the title " eat or die" and partly because the situation was exploited at once by the usual browsing kniferia. Wicked indeed and you were right on target with the key to the stable. But that was yesterday. Now above mentioned sentences would be the only ones on the agenda if you care to respond. ED
