Digital River Partners With Adaptec to Provide Delivery of Leading SCSI Hardware and Software

MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 12, 1999--Digital River
(NASDAQ: DRIV), the leader in electronic software delivery (ESD) with
over 131,000 software titles from over 1,300 software publishers,
today announced a fulfillment agreement with Adaptec, Inc., a leading
bandwidth management technology provider. Through its association with
Adaptec, Digital River will manage Adaptec's Online Store
(http://www.adaptecstore.com) and related marketing promotions, as
well as provide fulfillment services for that activity.
