Is CMGI a good buy at this level ?? Don't have access to real-time tick. Is the volume picking up and going north ?

Sold DBCC 39 - truth is, DBCC is not worth anywhere near this value (not that any of the "nets" are) ... 1/2 owner with CBS and now trading above price for CBS. Went from 3 - 45, CBS went up perhaps 3 points on the news of the IPO. Makes no sense ... which is the better company? However, it doesn't pay to fight the trend, crazy as it may be. If DBCC goes down to low 30's, worth a buy for a quick trade.

Normally I have good service with DLJ, but something was making the web chug this morning. Thank God I wasn't holding my internets! DLJ has phone service, but yesterday you got disconnected after holding 20 minutes... Looks like it's ok now.

Joe
I use waterhouse and do have frustrations but it seems not as much as some other brokerages

any way
what I do is use the Trade Direct phone service rather than mess with trying to get a broker on the phone when things like this happen

Of course sometimes trade direct is down

This morning I was trying to trade CMGI and couldn't get a quote for the new options after the split on waterhouse. Never tried trade direct- which uses a different quote feed - because the move was over by then. I was pretty slow on this one because I couldn't find the darn symbols.

btw, the quote feed on the webbroker is often wrong so don't rely on it if you are trading options. I have talked with them about this and they said there is nothing they can do and to use the trade direct or get a broker on the phone for a correct quote
