i m not counting on 170 but i will take 160 anyday. stock is not down cuz of valuations, i think it's down cuz of news that are about to come out. ??? once the news is out good/bad then the stock can go back.

i noticed weakness in msft last friday. and yesterday it was down when Naz was up. friday we should be up.

JP, I think the stock will surely hit about 160 to 165 by earnings. I am still hoping for 159 by Friday, expiration of options because I have a few January options. I will settle for 152 by Friday but expect it to be higher.
Why did INTEL move so much in past week or so. Momentum players.
If Intel blew away the whisper numbers, what do you think MSFT will do. They will destroy the earnings estimates. They might raise the unearned revenues substantially in addition to great earnings. Can you imagine how a MSFT short will feel at the start of next week. I bet they will close their positions by Friday causing a dramatic rise in the stock price.

BTW-Contrary to what has been posted--MSFT starts its case after about 2 hours of testimony by the DOJ witness.
