otter, from your post,,< I'm a Schwab customer and am not unhappy with them. They do what I want - which is to execute orders quickly and at reasonable cost.

I have been looking for a new broker to trade opt's with, do you activly trade opts ? ie: when i use the internet with my current broker to trade sometimes the site is down, sometines it takes 15 min to get to talk to a person,,,,this I can not tollerate !!!!!!!sometimes i want in and then out in 15 , 20 min !!!

I also invest primarily in LEAPS - lately the LJVAB Jan '00 10's for VLSI. At around 4 1/4, it seems like a no-brainer to make money with the long-awaited semi upturn in progress. It seems to be lagging LSI's shares which concern me slightly.

What is your opinion on nibbling on the oil drillers or ERP vendors with LEAPS ? Which sector's are you playing outside of ASIC's?
