On Market Gems Agenda: New Newsletter by Sunday afternoon for stocks reporting through end of January.. with dates that will be refreshed automatically. As for non-subscribers the Market Gems thread will still be full of newsy items and 'some earnings plays' for the thread. NTBK was posted on the thread and made for a good trade today.. and EGRP, LCOS,NITE and GNET were all posted on the thread in ample time. 1) Finalizing the calendar and customizing it .. it will have its own url and be updated by the company and and not by market gems. Unfortunately I only discovered this company in the last few days so the calendar isn't in its final format.. To make up for that I posted the calendar as a 'report' available on the watch list area. The finalized version be the format for every month during the year since the earnings season is an ongoing event encompassing 11 out of 12 months of the year. So we are essentially upgrading and improving constantly. There will be additional companies on the calendar because since I get the dates as part of the licence with the company I thought it would be better to include earnings plays (the 10-20 I drop from the newsletter)that passed most of the criteria but not all the criteria.. they will be designated as 'alternates'.. 2) A brand new newsletter that will be ready by Sunday early afternoon for the stocks reporting the later half of the month (through the 31st)..it will be similar in format to the last newsletter. 3) For those newcomers to the market gems service please note the newsletter for the first half of January is already on the website and has been there since December 21.. They were stocks reporting through the 21st of January.. and were meant to be 'checked' during the first 2 weeks of January (through the 15th).. thereby giving you the stocks about 1 to 2 weeks in advance of its earnings report. 4) In addition the daily watch list will have some stocks that are already in a pivotal TECHNICAL position for its earnings report. This differentiates it from the newsletter insofar as its technicals are now attractive as well as the Fundamentals.. (i.e. DRTE, GNSSF,BRYO,MMCN,MXTR,AWRE, GCTI.. etc, SEG from this week, NTBK from this week) These stocks are both 'earnings plays' and 'daily watch list' stocks.. and I would say they have a slightly better chance at a profitable trade.. Remember that this 'intensity' is only for the next few weeks.. By February we move at a more leisurely pace. (like we did in December) because the fewer earnings plays we have to track the more attention can be paid the the particular stock that is chosen. jenna marketgems.com
