could be, that's why I ain't firin the final round of puts. If this is the first leg down, there will be a bounce somewhere and I'll put that sucker. No way to call the exact peak of a mania. Just let it happen. Besides, I own plenty of puts as it is.

of course there is an alternate possibility....

w/ the increased use of derivatives in the 90's, the US mkt could start falling and just keep falling if certain currency and/or foreign mkt derivatives were kicked in on several banks at once which caused FORCED selling. Wouldn't that be a fun to watch. Would be a shocker to everybody... just as a true crash should.
