Whoops. I am one who did not buy the bid.com - alas, I told my broker just like the Charles Schwab tv commercial - "Gee, the wife and I were camping and didn't have a modem for our laptop, and we wanted to buy a stock. I turned around and said, Oh Martha - what can we do, what can we do? - Then Martha realized we could try using a telephone - the same instrument we use to call those recorded s-x chat lines. So we called our broker and placed the order. We felt so....empowered."

Well I tried, I tried and my broker got so.....confused - I didn't even find out that I didn't own it till about 24 hours later. I feel.......so.......ashamed.....
- although given my experience with the broker I use - I probably did buy it and they put it in somebody else's account! I think it is possible that I may have offended the citizens of Canada and that they have plotted against me, seeking to twart any money making on Canadian firms. Well, you Canuks may have won round one, but I'll have you know that I have friends in high places in places like Florida, and a bill will entering the Florida legislature, which will make it illegal to provide housekeeping services to any Canadian tourist staying in Florida hotels during next winter season.
