Hi Paul - After you load Service Pak 4.0, do a complete new install and you will find that NT is much more stable. I have both Solaris and NT configured on the same machine. NT versions from 3.0 and below generated the "Blue Screen" on several occasions (sometimes daily!). However, NT w/ service Pak 4.0 is very good and I have not once experienced the "Blue Screen" errors.

Nice to read the previous post on this thread regarding Novell's new directory and that an end-user is finding many benefits. I am a bit concerned by Novell's different licensing fees and pricing strategies. Will these different pricing schemes leave a good taste in loyal Novell user's mouth? I guess I would like to see any benefit in pricing discounts go to loyal customers (w/ long term growth prospects ie. increase in user seats) rather than deep discounted new user contracts.

The bottom line is Novell must grow their revenues with both old time users and new users but not on the backs of good loyal customers.
