Except what you fail to mention is that the exchange rate would be many to one. That is not such a positive thing to do.

Figure this many to one number could be any where from a minimum of 10:1, but if you are talking exchange status, then you must be talking several hundred to one to normalize value with any already trading company.

This is why I have called it a de facto reverse split. Because at the end of the transaction you will have many fewer shares of the new entity would you not?
