Teledesic may be coming closer to reality. A research note out today indicates the contract between Motorola and Teledesic for the constellation development may be signed this quarter. For what it's worth, Motorola (in my opinion) is well on its way toward transforming itself from a semiconductor/cellular phone company to a 21st century satellite-based communications giant. The benefits to businesses it supports (Iridium/Teledesic) should, perhaps, not be underestimated... This is my opinion only.
