MS could see that RMBS was making new highs on low volume, that the float was drying up......A valuation "call" here was just an easy way to pry some fingers off of some shares. It could be a gutsy call or it could come back and bite them if RMBS earnings are better than expected. I'd be surprised to see heavy buying 1 day before earnings so tomorrow could be another down day. Gotta say though, those $94 shares seemed to be hold.

If this is the start of a correction in all the tecks etc.
Intel's good earnings should stall the teck correction. Rambus was getting just a little high priced because of the small float and spillover hype from the internet stocks. Any price under $100 is okay in my opinion. The stock should reach about $120 or so about June or July (whenever the Camino chipset is actually available). I wouldn't be surprized to see it go way higher on further speculation but I wouldn't count on it keep much more valuation than I have indicated.

TP (The above should not be considered investment advice but is only presented for amusement).

WineOh:

You got it all wrong, Big Boy. I backed up the truck today and bought more. I was just making the point that, until the universe does a 180, individual investors will have to anticipate having the analysts and their brethren pulling these stunts on us all. In addition, we are constantly behind the curve re: info. That's why I enjoy this so much. I love taking on th MM's. BTW, haven't used a broker in 47 months. Happy and wealthy as a result. Y tu?

Do try and lay off the MD20/20...
