Seems more like a funeral on this post then a celebration. Did anyone here really expect a 4:1 or 5:1 split, or earnings that were double the estimate?

Does anyone have any after hours quotes?

David

Pretty damn impressive year to year revenue growth of better than 400%, and these guys now have $480M in cash and equivalents.

Where exactly did that cash come from? However they came to own it, it gives them an enviable bank account with which to grow and improve their business. I guess Amazon.com would like to be in their cash-shoes.

The numbers mean nothing in the net sector. Are the earnings good...or are they below expectations ?

I went and checked the YHOO thread. See thats why I like that thread..it gives indications of what will happen tomorrow.

Most of what I read (and I read very little) seemed to indicate an up day for YHOO. I have to read some more before reaching a conclusion, but people talked about CMGI, AMZN and how stocks of a loss making company were spiralling upwars and how people should hold on to their shares......

Interesting..hmmmm....psychology at work.
