i have been in and out of AMER before (loss). last march i picked up some leaps and only occasionally selling a few to cover the cost of others and then buying more at higher prices.

I must say ride in AOL has been very different from vvus.

On CNBC Professor Michael Edessis from Lockwood Assosciates said that current market valuations are appropriate because " previously, the market was undervalued ". He said that

"had investors known what MSFT 's growth rate was 15 years ago who knows what the PE would have been: maybe in the 100s or 1000s . And had they bought it at that price and kept it for 15 years, they still would have made a very good return. So everybody is trying to find which will be the new MSFT ".

Question for this thread : is AOL the new MSFT?

At 1712 hrs, INTC remains up $138.5 on Instinet,
YHOO down $4. I think YHOO growth rate was overestimated. I think the best ALL AROUND player is AOL.Makes money too,
