Commences Form 10 Registration Process

Company to Exhibit in 32 National and Regional Shows

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla., Jan. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- James P. Crehan, Sr.,
Chairman of the Board of Environmental Digital Services, Inc.
(OTC Bulletin Board: EVDS) (EDSi), a publicly traded high technology-based
provider of underground tank monitoring, leak detection and risk management
solutions, has announced the 1999 schedule for the Company's participation in
industry regional and national trade shows. The Company has again decided to
heavily invest in marketing their products and services in such venues as the
national conventions and exhibitions of such groups as the National
Association of Convenience Stores, American Trucking Association, Service
Station Dealers of America and numerous regional petroleum marketing shows.
New displays for 1999 all include working examples demonstrating the Company's
technology.
Mr. Crehan has also announced that a CPA firm has been retained to produce
audited financial results for fiscal 1998. These results will also be
utilized by the Company's legal advisors in filing a "Form 10" with the
Securities and Exchange Commission so as to assure the Company's compliance
with the requirements of changes to SEC Rules 6530 and 6540, the "OTC Bulletin
Eligibility Rule," as adopted on January 4, 1999. Mr. Crehan anticipates that
this submission will be made within the next 90 days, well within the
requirements of the amended rules.

Environmental Digital Services, Inc. Reports Leasing Agreement with Green Tree

Green Tree to Offer up to $40 Million
for Leasing of EDSi Fuel Monitoring Systems

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla., Jan. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- James P. Crehan, Sr.,
Chairman of the Board of Environmental Digital Services, Inc.
(OTC Bulletin Board: EVDS) (EDSi), a publicly traded high technology based
provider of underground tank monitoring, leak detection and risk management
solutions, has announced the closing of an agreement with Green Tree Vendor
Services Corporation of Paramus, New Jersey, one of the country's leading
lease finance firms. The agreement commits Green Tree to accept applications
from EDSi customers for the purpose of leasing its Capscan fuel monitoring
system. The agreement runs for the duration of 1999, and subject to Green
Tree's normal credit and documentation review, will allow for up to
$40 million of lease transactions.
Mr. Crehan also reports that following up on very successful fall and
winter preproduct release trade show, exhibition and media campaigns, the EDSi
sales staff will commence demonstrating the Capscan System with the first
production units during the week of January 11. EDSi has already received
orders and deposits for the Capscan System, and expects to book many
significant orders early in the first quarter of 1999.
In recognition of past contributions and reflecting an increasing level of
responsibilities, Mr. James J. Karikas, Jr. has been promoted from the
position of Director of Sales to the vacant position of Vice President, Sales
and Marketing, effective immediately. Mr. Karikas continues to organize a
growing sales staff preparing for mid-first quarter product shipments.
