Don't know about Connectix/VGS.

Most people feel that this is nothing but *good* news for Sony who make next to nothing on Playstation hardware.

My guesses are that:

1) They're still doing bug fixes (foreign language versions) and gearing up for full production. Or;

2) Sony may want a piece of the action -- that has yet to be negotiated.
