TJ...IPO GROUND RULES... I promise this won't be as difficult or time consuming in practise as it will be to explain it!!! Two things first..please see post #4005 for the format we will follow for our candidate issues. We'll only have 1-3 active plays at any one time. Also please go to techstocks.com qport-3969674 and 'bookmark' this location. This will be the partner portfolio to the #4005 post procedure. Stocks will be arranged in the portfolio with the 'confirmed' plays at the top and the 'pre-registration' candidates further down. I'll be responsible for maintaining and re-arranging the order of the portfolio and the future updates to the information in the #4005 post. Also, feel free to look at the portfolio in the three formats there..basic/daily change/and portfolio performance. We have 15 thread participants to help with this project. To avoid clogging the thread with extraneous posts..once you have picked a stock to follow/report on..communicate with me via PM..so we can keep the thread to trading entry/exits etc. which hopefully Jeff will lend his expertise; understanding of course that we are all individually responsible for our own trades. The process here is to identify current publically traded companies that have definitve plans to 'unbundle' their i-net assets thru an IPO and for us to trade in the stock of the 'parent' company from the pre-IPO filing date..to filing date..to pricing date..to first trading day of the spin-off. We will include any company that we can reasonably confirm to be in the process outlined above..The person assigned to the stock should follow up with the IR department at the company and also "lurk/participate" if there is an SI thread for the company.. There are numerous resources on the net to find candidates for inclusion in the portfolio including SI itself..IPO related web sites.. companies with e-commerce sites etc.. I'd like people to volunteer in two areas..searching for candidates and specific issue specialists once in our portfolio. Please PM me with your interests..
