Hype. Biotech frauds can be very longlived. You have to look at shorting them almost like buying a bond. There is no free lunch when shorting a scam like HEPH or Zonagen. You get the certainty that these companies are not going to change the laws of physics and chemistry - so they'll never sell their quack medicines...but you pay for that certainty with the risk of long-term stock fraud as naive and scientifically illiterate investors are suckered in and the stock price artificially inflated.
