"Strong sell/short sell recommendation.....EGGS"

There was a fine article on Egghead's transition in the latest MIT Technology magazine (the one about the Internet). If you haven't seen it, I would recommend it.

Certainly, it was clear from the article that management is frank and focused about the challenges it faces during this transition.

I am neither short nor long the stock but agree that it looks quite overvalued. However, if it turns out that management pulls this transition off, I will be very impressed.

What typically happens when the CEO comes on CNBC after a bad quarters report?

I'm trying to figure out if I should cover EGGS now, or will the stock absolutely tank after the appearance.

Bankrupt retailer EGGS continues its price decline...

In the meantime, savvy investors also continue to sell off CPU - the company that put EGGS out of business.

I continue to short EGGS and buy CPU.
