Dan

<<I am made in the image of God. se prior post for verse>>
Image and likeness. Likeness meaning of the same stuff(IMO)

<<By prayer and petition. >>
What is prayer, but very earnest conversation?

<<I do not understand what you are saying here. Them is you is it not?>>

Just one of many of my grammatical errors.

I do believe that our souls are aspects of God, and through that similar trait we all share, comes the collective conciousness. I also believe that our much ballyhooed feelings(VBG)or intuitions, can be
signals(for lack of a better word)from that aspect of divinity.

For the record, I do not believe that makes me(my physical body) God.
I don't go home and bend the cosmos to my will:-) I believe our goals here on earth are to learn to evolve to a point wherein we can love
all fully and unconditionally and theiren our souls can reunite with God, the personification of unconditional love. I couls go into more detail, but it just gives eveyone here to much ammo to hammer me with:-)

><>...Good evening my friend...><>

To God be the Glory!

Ps 3:1-8
1 LORD, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me.
2 Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah.
3 But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.
4 I cried unto the LORD with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah.
5 I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me.
6 I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about.
7 Arise, O LORD; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly.
8 Salvation belongeth unto the LORD: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah.

Have a blessed evening Dan, you and your family.

Sinceerly, with love in Christ.
Shalom...><>

><>...Conversation with God...><>

Many people profess they converse with God, when in reality all they are doing is copping a plea and talking at God. They say too much and never listen for a response! Mostly in fear of getting one!!
Conversing with God no doubt, many do. But developing a relationship with Him through Jesus Christ, they know not! A sincere relationship is too committal. A conversation with God is a gimmicky term that sounds nice and spiritual.!
Better for some to Be still and know that He is God!

Phil 3:17-21
17 Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.
18 (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:
19 Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)
20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:
21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

Have a good evning my friend and brother

Sincerely,
Shalom...><>
