Both results are within the poll's margin of sampling error of +/- 3 percentage points, though, suggesting the hypothetical races would be close.

And besides.... thanks to the RR we now have the customary character assault ... which has already happened to Gore - think Bush will survive (I dont). And is the RR ready for a woman president? I dont think so......

BTW the polls are skewed in favor of the right I think - I suspect Clintons approval ratings are actually higher than CNN polls say, and I think Gore would kill any republican candidate thanks to rear of the RR and mobilization of the liberal voters who customarily are unlikely to vote. We saw this in the last election (hey wanst Fairclod a shoo-in according to CNN?)

Republicans in congress will soon be asked to attend chambers in the customary Do Do Bird attire...
